Embark on a life journey from childhood to old age on a tiny, randomly generated planet. Explore diverse landscapes, from bustling cities to majestic mountains and mysterious forests. Sail across vast seas, learn a multitude of skills, and uncover the secrets of this ever-changing world.

How to Play?

  • Travel & Interact: Click anywhere on the world map to travel to that location and perform specific actions.
  • Choose Your Actions: Left-click and right-click at any point to initiate different actions, depending on the context of the location.
  • Succeed or Fail: Successful actions grant you new skills, gold, or valuable items. Failure can result in injury or loss of gold.
  • Skill Checks: To succeed in an action, you'll need to pass a skill check. Choose up to two skills you've learned to increase your chances—pick the ones that best fit the task at hand!
  • Beware of Accidents: During your travels, accidents can happen! Opt for safer paths to reduce the risk (plains are safer than forests), or be prepared to face the consequences.
  • Age Matters: Each journey ages your character. Some actions are only available to children or adults, so plan your life wisely!

The game is still in development.

If you try it, any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

This is a really fascinating game. One major problem is that its very easy to acquire too many skills for the list to hold, meaning any new skills cant be selected. Besides that issue, it's weirdly enthralling.

Thank you for your comment ! I added a menu to let you choose what skills you want to forget and what skills you want to keep when you reach the skill limit.

Just wanted to come to the actual itch page from the GMTK jam and say this game is truly brilliant, I love the skill system and the whole explorable word is incredibly impressive.

Thank you for taking the time to post a comment in the game page ! I’m glad you liked the game.

It takes a couple of tries before you understand how to play, but once you take your first steps and learn the first skills the game becomes an extremely engaging rabbit hole... and it's tremendously deep!

(In fact, it's so deep that once I learned enough skills, I couldn't confirm anymore because the button doesn't fit the screen. Couldn't resize the window either. Please fix this in the future so we might explore for longer.)

Still, fantastic idea.
